Johnny Ray Holt, 68, of Nederland, Texas, died Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Beaumont, Texas.

Johnny was born February 1, 1950 in Orange, Texas to the late Paul Odell Holt and Leila Jane Jones Holt.

He was employed as a switchman with Total Petro Chemical for thirty-nine years, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 5145.

Johnny is survived by his wife, Crystal Holt; his daughter, Sherrie Holt Anderson; his step-daughters, Amy Hernandez and husband Fidencio and Victoria Blake and husband Rick; his step-sons, David Dees, and wife Erika, Michael Dees and Brian Dees; and his sister Linda Brown.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Larry P. Holt.

A Knights of Columbus rosary will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 5:30 pm with a visitation from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Melancon’s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H. in Nederland. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
