Charles' middle name was actually "Louis." I think this may have been "lost in translation" when his body was moved from its original burial spot in Magnolia cemetery in Galveston to the Norwood Cemetery. Possibly because he is in the Lewis plot. His daughter Lillian Serena married a Lewis. Also buried in Norwood is his second wife Mary Stroud & along with daughter Lillie. Mary & Charles' son William/Willie Bolton. I cannot find him on Find A Grave. I think he is buried as W.S. Bolton. Possibly "Dr."
Anyway I am not sure how to list a name correction, since the old tombstone is incorrect. It took me a long time to solve "the case of the missing Colonel Bolton." Apparently Magnolia cemetery flooded from a hurricane & bodies had to be relocated. Mary Stroud Bolton was buried in Hearne/apparently her hometown, before Mr. Bolton was moved there.
