Eugene “Gene” Jenkins, 51 was born January 3, 1967 to Isabell Jenkins and the late Cleveland Jenkins in Bronx, New York.
He received his formal education in the Beaufort County school system. He worked several jobs in Beaufort County before he became ill. “Gene” as he was affectionately known enjoyed socializing mostly with family and friends. He also loved taking pictures.
On Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Riverside Health & Rehabilitation Center in Charleston, SC. Eugene “Gene” Jenkins entered into eternal rest. He will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his sister, Janie Jenkins.

He was the son of Isabelle Jenkins and brother of Joann Singleton - Camel. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Monday, April 23, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home Chapel in Beaufort, SC. Funeral service will be held 11 am Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Bethesda Christian Fellowship on St. Helena Island. Allen Funeral Home of Beaufort in charge.
