HYMMEN, Eric Bruce
It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Bruce at his home in Waterloo on Friday September 18, 2015, at age 64. A lifetime resident of Kitchener Waterloo, Bruce contributed generously to his community: teaching geography and coaching basketball at Eastwood Collegiate, working with lake residents to maintain water quality at his cottage, and-as a respected elder-dedicating himself to helping others in many aspects of service at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. Bruce was a loving brother to Penny and her husband John Lewis of Peterborough and to Judy and her husband Blake Stormes of Elora. Dear uncle to Jody Strom (nee Lewis) of Calgary (Ryan), Jamie Lewis of Toronto (Lisa), Graham Stormes of Kitchener and Ben Stormes of Ithaca, N.Y. Fond grand uncle to Victoria, Bennet and Elliott Strom and to Kieran, Maya and Neeka Lewis. Visitation will be held at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, ON N2G 1C7 on Monday September 21, from 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at 3pm. (Visitation from 2-3 pm.) on Tuesday September 22 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 54 Queen St., N. in Kitchener. Interment to take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Kitchener. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (Youth Ministry or Stephen Ministry).
