Sylvia Sue C. Bryant, age 77, of Clay went home to be with the LORD April 18, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents Kathleen Hill, J. D. Hill, Jr. and Howard Camp; daughter Mary Elizabeth Bryant Strange; and her father and mother-in-law William A. Bryant and Linda Elizabeth Bryant.

Sylvia is survived by her husband of 44 years Milton A. Bryant; her children Shirley Bryant Stokes (Dwayne), William A. Bryant, Susan Baggett Ellis (Gil), Jonathan Alan Baggett (Susan), and Denise "Dee Dee" Baggett Sandlin (Gregg); eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Reidus and Marie Bryant; numerous nieces and nephews; her beloved dog Pebbles; and her best friend Diane O'Dell.

Sylvia was an avid animal lover, book reader, loved children and a founding member of the Clay Red Hat Society and The Good Time Gals. Sylvia loved to travel, especially the beach. She was an active member of Welcome Baptist Church in Palmerdale and previously a forty year plus member of Sunny Side Baptist Church in Clay.

Visitation will be at Ridout's Trussville Chapel on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 pm. Interment will be at Clay United Methodist Church Cemetery.
