Michelle “Mic” Henson, age 60 years, a resident of rural Vienna, Illinois, passed away Tuesday morning, April 10, 2018, at 9:40 AM at Hillview Health Care Center in Vienna.
Mic was born August 27, 1957 in Kankakee County Illinois. She was the daughter of Robert Lee Chaput and Rose Marie (Corbin) Chaput.
Mic is survived by: her son – Jeremy W. (his wife, Kerry) Gray of Wheatland, Indiana; 2 grandchildren – Samantha B. Gray and Jacqleen Dani Gray; her beloved companion – Collin Meyer of Vienna; 2 brothers – Bruce Chaput of Morrison, Tennessee and Kenneth Chaput of Englewood, Tennessee; a dear aunt – Cathy Aaron of Cypress; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In addition to her parents, Mic was preceded in death by: 2 brothers – David Chaput and Danny Chaput as well as a nephew – Michael Chaput.
Mic was a 1975 graduate of Vienna High School. She was employed as a clerk at Thomas Liquor and Gas in Vienna from 1992-2007.
Mic loved her dogs and cats.
A service honoring the life of Michelle “Mic” Henson will be conducted Friday evening, April 13, 2018, at 7 PM at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Pastor Ken Bain will officiate. Burial will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6 PM – 7 PM at Bailey Funeral Home.
