Jane Hughes Rendall, age 90; beloved wife of George J. Rendall; loving mother of COL (R) Thomas H. (Joan) Rendall, William R. (Bodie) Rendall and Barbara (Adrian) Hochstadt; cherished grandmother of W. Wolf Rendall, Andrew L. Hochstadt, Lauren E. Hochstadt and Sarah R. Hochstadt.

Jane was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and a graduate of Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. In 1956, she moved with her husband from Morgan Park in Chicago to Downers Grove, Illinois. Jane was moved by a strong Christian faith and she quickly became an active member of the First Presbyterian Church where she served as a Sunday school and bible school teacher, head of the welcoming committee and a Deacon.

Jane also served as a Girl Scout and Cub Scout leader. She worked at the Rambler Shop in downtown Downers Grove for more than 12 years.

Jane's retirement years were spent caring for her grandchildren, helping others, and traveling to see friends and family. Jane and her husband George, moved to Lexington Square in Lombard in 2017. Countless friends and relatives remember her best as, "Always Uplifting Others." A fitting epitaph.
