York - Gracie E. Moore-Little, 73, was called to her heavenly home with family by her side, on April 16, 2018. She was the widow of Ernest Little.
Gracie was born on April 8, 1945 in Orange, VA to the late Horace Spottswood and the late Lottie Mae Lewis.
Gracie was a graduate of Waynesboro High School in Waynesboro. During her many years of employment, Gracie worked as a private duty nurse and was a CNA for Colonial Manor in York.
All that knew her, knew she was a woman who freely spoke her mind. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, singing, making others laugh; but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Gracie leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Clifford B. Moore, Jr. of York and Robert E. Moore, Sr. of KY; four brothers, Walter Lewis of Norristown, Albert Spottswood of Waynesboro, William Lewis of Harrisburg, and Alvin Lewis of York; four sisters, Jacqueline Rawlings, Betty Paige, and Mary Bright, all of York and Sylvia Lewis of Harrisburg; 11 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; other family members and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Gracie was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Paige and Marcellus Lewis.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Fairview FGMB Church, 465 S. Pine St., York, with a Celebration of Life Service following at 12 p.m. Interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery, York.
Boulding Mortuary Inc. is handling arrangements.
