Gregory Allen Evans age 56 of Corryton passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, after a courageous four year battle with heart and kidney disease.
Employee of Knox County Schools.
Preceded in death by parents, Joe and Eula Evans; and brothers, Darrell and Mickey Evans.
Survived by his loving soulmate of 33 years, Valerie & daughter, Kindyll Oglesby; son and daughter-in-law, Chance and Mandi Evans; grandchildren, Sam Evans, Lakin Evans, Rhett Evans, Kaceton Evans, and his Sunshine, Emerson Evans; big brother, Ronnie Evans; nieces, Tori Evans, Chelcea Evans and Cheyenne Evans Martin ; and many other special cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A heartfelt thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Marys Hospital, especially I PU and Imaging as well as Fresenius Medical Care.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Saturday, April 21, 2018, at Bridges Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 7:00 PM with Rev. Bill Wilson officiating with a private interment at a later date.
