Donna Jean (Fisher) Welch, 69, of Terra Alta, WV, died Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at her residence.
Born March 12, 1949, in Oakland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Bernice (Uphold) Fisher. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Sisler and Ellen Schroyer; three brothers, Billy Fisher, Keith Fisher and Ricky Uphold.
Ms. Welch was a homemaker and a member of the Laurel Run Church of God. She was a social member of the V.F.W. Post 578, Terra Alta, WV.
She is survived by her former husband, Clyde Welch, Oakland; three daughters, Robin (Paul) Barnes, Delmont, PA; Regina (companion, Donald Clark) Tusing and Sarah (Josh) Cobb, all of Terra Alta; one step-daughter, Janet Welch, Accident, MD; one brother, Robert Fisher, Friendsville, MD; one sister, Sandra (Gary) Rodeheaver, Friendsville; six grandchildren, Cody Tusing, Brycen Valentine, Cheyenne Casteel, Cherokee Casteel, Brinlee Cobb and Lacey House; five great-grandchildren, KJ Casteel, Damon Barnes, AJ Barnes, Nate Barnes and Morgan Shearer.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Ave., Friendsville, on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the Laurel Run Church of God on Friday, April 20, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Ray Frankhouser officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.
Interment will be in the Blooming Rose Cemetery.
