Fort Bend Herald, April 19, 2018:

Patti Elaine Moore, 61, passed away on April 17, 2018 in Flatonia, Texas. She was born on July 19, 1956 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of John M. Moore III and Dorothy “Dot” Chaney Moore. Patti’s greatest achievement was her son, B.J., whom she loved unconditionally. She took great pride in watching him flourish in all of his endeavors. Patti was a graduate of Lamar Consolidated High School. Her love of horses led her to barrel racing in her younger years. Patti had a great love of animals – there was never a stray puppy or wild animal that got passed up. She was an avid sports fan, ever devoted to the Dallas Cowboys, the Aggies and the Houston Astros. This loving mother, grandmother, and friend will be missed.

In addition to her parents, Patti is preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Wayne Hibbler and Mahlon William Hibbler.

Survivors include her son, B.J. Hill and his wife, Chanda; grandchildren, Trip and Rylie Hill; special friends, Susan Phillips, Camille Cernoch Aldridge and Marsha Gisi; along with extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2018 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Richmond State Supported Living Center or to the local animal shelter – two causes that were near and dear to Patti’s heart.

Tributes and words of condolences may be left for the family at www.davisgreenlawnfh.com.

Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd., Rosenberg, Texas 77471, Phone: 281-341-8800.
