Peggy Alice Hatton Henderson, age 76, was called home on April 16, 2018.

She was a member of Centennial Baptist Church and was a woman of strong faith. After working hard, praying for her family and friends, her work on earth is over. She has no more pain or suffering. Her payday has come and she is at peace with the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Hatton Rhodes and step-father, Leonard Rhodes, Sr., her father, Leonard Hatton; one daughter, Kimberly Jan Henderson Gambrel; two sisters, Janice Hatton Thornberry and Bonnie Rhodes; three brothers, Rev. Roy Hatton, Lonnie and Ronnie Rhodes.

She is survived by her husband, Elmer “Sam” Henderson; two daughters, Tammy Webb and Bill Neal, Knoxville, TN, Mary and Jamie England, Middlesboro, KY one brother and his wife, Leonard Rhodes, Jr. and Lisa; four grandchildren, Tabatha & Jason Bingham, Terri Beth Mays, Kristal and John Creekmur and Noah England; and she has seven great-grandchildren, Haven, Dylan, Brookelyn and Jada Bingham, Caleb Hobbs, Skyler Harris and Aubrianuna Mays; sister-in-law, Maxine Hatton; special friends, Barbara and Doe Fuson, Irene Fuson and Bonnie Marie Rhodes and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
