Barbara A. Kling, 64, of Tannery Road, Burnt Cabins, died Monday, April 16, 2018, at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.

Born July 31, 1953, in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of the late James Hayes and Edna Louise (Longnecker) Beaver. She was united in marriage to John Kling Dec. 5, 1971, in Allenport, Mount Union. Mr. Kling preceded her in death Aug. 26, 2011.

Mrs. Kling is survived by one son, John Kling; and one grandson, Frankie Kling of Burnt Cabins.

She is also survived by four sisters, Faye Kemp and Peggy Brunner of Mount Union, Mary Plank of Blacklog Valley Road, Orbisonia, and Susie Tyson of Lewistown.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Diana Jean Shafer; two brothers; and one sister.

Mrs. Kling was a member of the Fair Ridge Assembly of God Church, Shade Gap, R.R.

She retired from the Area Agency on Aging as a licensed practical nurse.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, at the Fair Ridge Assembly of God Church, 22776 Piper Lane, Shade Gap, with the Rev. Dan Fox officiating. Interment will be made at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Shade Gap, R.R.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 20, and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Kling may be made to Team No One Fights Alone, c/o Candi Whitsel, 19204 Echo Hill Lane, Three Springs, PA 17264.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia.
