Edwin McNutt, a former minister of this city and well known in Mattoon and throughout this section, died Thursday evening at his home in San Antonio, Texas, where he had lived for several years. He was a son of Finley McNutt and a brother of Mrs. Walter Briggs of this city. He was about 38 years old.
The body will arrive in this city on Sunday and the funeral service will be held on Monday.
