BOWHAY _ Robert Wilfred
1922 - 2004

Robert Wilfred Bowhay passed away peacefully at home on Monday, December 6, 2004. Robert was predeceased by his father Charles Lionel Bowhay; mother Blanche Bignold Bowhay; siblings, Sam, Bill, Tom, Eric, Peggy, Phyllis, Lilly and Louise. Robert was born and raised in Three Hills, AB. He served as pilot officer in 408 (Goose) Squadron, 6th group, RCAF on active operations from August 16, 1944 to December 17, 1944. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross with Bar for valor, bravery and meritorious service. Robert earned his CA designation while articling following the war and went on to become the longest serving senior partner with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. before establishing a distinguished tax consultancy practice. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A gathering of family and friends will be held at LEYDEN'S FUNERAL HOME, 304 - 18 Avenue S.W., Calgary, AB on Friday, December 10, 2004 at 10:00 A.M.
