HAMPTON - Barbara Smith Granger, 85, of Hampton passed away April 2nd, 2017 after a long battle with Parkinson's.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Willard Granger; daughters Karen Finnegan and Rebecca Warren; son-in-law's Terence Finnegan and Harold Warren; 4 grandchildren, Isaac, Shae, Liam, and Heather; and 5 great grandchildren, Isaac Jr, Isabella, Xavier, Xander, and Fiona. She also leaves behind her two best friends, Diane Staples and Mary Smith.
Barbara was a devoted mother, talented seamstress and avid knitter. She guided her daughters and many young girls for 8 years as a Girl Scout leader. She retired March 1997 after 29 years at LAFB performing secretarial responsibilities. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to www.parkinson.org.
