Jack was born January 31, 1920, in Moline, Illinois.
Jack was the son of John Wilford King Sr. and Jessie (Graham) King and was raised in Oak Park, Illinois. He was happily married to Marie (LeClear) King for 62 years.
A Son of the American Revolution and a veteran of World War II; Jack was a graduate of the University of Illinois and worked professionally as a Mechanical Engineer for 40 years. He worked for Teletype, Henry Pratt and WATUBO, before retiring to Kerrville, TX with his wife and best friend, Marie. Together, they enjoyed years of traveling the US in their RV and engaging in numerous craft projects together. Jack loved wood working, stained glass work, cars, sailing and a great joke. He had a wonderful sense of humor, which he very much enjoyed sharing with friends.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his two children, Gregg King of Middletown, OH and Holly King of Chicago, IL.
