John “Terry” Heard, 70, of Lake Tenkiller, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 in his home. He was born October 26, 1947 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Buck and LaVeta Heard. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dr. Don Heard.

Terry owned and operated The Relay Station and later was employed for 18 years and retired from Smurfit Stone as Safety Quality Coordinator.

He is survived by his wife, Anita Hanna Heard of the home; son and daugher-in-law, Jason and Kimberley Faldon of Fort Smith, AR; grandson, Talton Faldon and granddaughter, Micah Faldon, both of Fort Smith; his forever little buddy, “Boomer” of the home; sister-in-law, Tonda Whigham of Cookson, OK; brother in law and wife, Dewayne and Nancy Hanna of Barling, AR; brother-in-law and wife, Ronnie and Doloris Hanna of Alma, AR; niece, Kim Hanna of Broken Arrow, OK; nephew and wife, Gary and Carla Whigham of Cookson, OK; nephew and wife, Brian and Sherry Hanna of Van Buren, AR; and many friends.

Due to Terry’s wishes, no funeral will be held. Cremation was under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and information will be posted on Facebook.

His love, generosity and humor will be dearly missed by all.
