He is survived by his wife Grace Gardner, his son Kevin Dempsey and his wife Melinda Dempsey; Brian Quintinsky and his wife Julie Quintinsky; Kim Thurman, her husband Curtis Thurman; Jennifer Quintinsky; his sisters; Susan Hillman and Kathryn Cooke and his six grandchildren.
