Pastor Nick, 73, 301 South Beech St., St. Marys, died at St. Rita's Medical Center.
He was the son of Charles and Georgia (Whitt) Christian, Sr. On Aug 6, 1964, in Wapakoneta, he married Phyllis Slone, who survives at the residence.
Also surviving are three sons: David, Jr., Johnny (Rochelle) and Billy (Nicole) Christian, all St. Marys; three daughters: Shelia (James) Tackett and Melissa (Tim) Whited, both St. Marys, and Juanita (Berkley) Spillman, Sr., Sharpsburg, KY; two brothers: Dwight and Chester Christian, Tampa, FL; and twenty-four grandchildren, including Jeffrey Christian, and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers: Harold, Charles and Franklin Christian; and a sister, Juanita Christian.
A member of the Shekinah Temple, St. Marys, he loved camping, and taught his kids how to hunt and fish. He was a big fan of the St. Marys Roughriders. He enjoyed growing flowers and his greatest love was playing guitar, piano and accordion, witnessing for the Lord.
Services will be at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, with Pastor Judy Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
