Mrs. Charlotte Keen Cole, 91, of Richlands, Va., died Tuesday morning in a Richlands hospital. Born in Buchanan County, Va., she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Susan VanDyke. She was the widow of James Cole, who died 43 years ago. She was a member of the Church of Christ, and had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Carmie) Ward of Richlands, the past six years.

Additional survivors include two other daughters, Mrs. Mary White of Jewell Ridge, Va., and Mrs. Flora Reed of Richlands; three sons, John and Clyde Cole of Jewell Ridge and Otis Cole of Collinsville, Va.; fifty grandchildren and seventy four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home Chapel in Richlands, with Dr. A. Charles Allen, Rev. Fred Tobleman and Rev. Nelson Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Knob Cemetery at Pea Patch, Va.
