She was a retired truck driver. She was a long time member of Central Baptist Church in Bentonia.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Emmette Ray Melton and Lynn "Buddy" Neely; daughter, Kathy Buckles; parents, Chester and Jessie McMillin, and her siblings, James McMillin, Chet (Chester, Jr) McMillin, Billy McMillin Beth Blackwell, and Betty Carter
She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Jack McMillin; grandchildren, Eric (Reagan) Collum, Lance (Jamie) Valure, and Michael (Kayla) Collum, and nine great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Glenwood Cemetery in Yazoo City, Mississippi.
