She was born January 17, 1932 in Grant County, to the late Guy & Katherine (Burr) Huff. Pat was a graduate of Lancaster High School. On August 15, 1953 she married Daniel Jindra at Lutheran Calvary Chapel, Madison. After 53 years together, Dan preceded her death on December 2, 2006. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Kiel where she was an active member of the Ladies Aid and OWLS. Pat was a prolific quilter and was a member of Sheboygan County Quilt Guild, Kiel & New Holstein Quilt Clubs. She was also involved in 4-H teaching children her wonderful sewing techniques. Pat quilted heirlooms for her family commemorating all major life events.
Pat is survived by her four children, Janet (Vernon) Griffin, Madison, Jill (Larry) Soest, Corona, CA, Larry (Sue) Jindra, Oceanside, CA, Eric Jindra, Kimberly; ten grandchildren, Shannon (Brent) Riffle, Tara (Will) Davis, Courtney (Melissa) Soest, Heather Soest, Kiel Jindra, Kelsey Jindra, Katelin (Robert) Loo, Lauren Gibson, Samuel Jindra & Riley Jindra; and 10 great-grandchildren: Drake, Makayla, Emma, Addie, Io, Cyrus, Jonas, Keith, Karina and Kayla. She is further survived by a sister, Laurel Alyea, a brother and sisters-in-law: James (Sue) Huff, Billie Fey Jindra, Grace Schleis, Carol Jindra, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel, her parents, Guy & Katherine Huff, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law: Jack Alyea, Ethel & Edwin Breitwisch, Al Jindra, Roy Jindra, and Emil Schleis.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church (387 Cemetery Rd, Kiel) with Rev. David Laabs officiating, burial will follow in Kiel City Cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends at church on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm.
The family will be establishing a memorial for Dementia Research in Pat's name.
