Ernest Lee Cole, age 71, a Lifetime Wardville resident. He was born on March 21, 1947, to Irvin and Ida (Jones) Cole, at Coal County, OK. Ernest passed away on April 15, 2018 at Ada, OK. He attended Wardville and Kiowa schools. Ernest worked over 40 years for the City of Coalgate. Ernest worked at doing various jobs from the water line, road crew and taking care of the Coalgate Cemetery. Earnest was a member of the Lone Star Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Earnest loved hunting, fishing, coaching softball, the Dallas cowboys and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Ida (Jones) Cole; brothers, Sherman Cole and Anthony Cole; brother in law, Edward Mayer; nephew, Eddie Mayer; great niece, Isabinda Anderson; and sister, Donna Mayo. Service will be 10:00 a.m, Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Brown's Funeral Chapel, Coalgate, Oklahoma. Interment will be at Lone Star Cemetery.
