Pauline E. (Lutz) Henry, 102, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018, in the Laurel Living Center, Hamburg, Pa. She was the wife of the late George E. Henry.
She was born in Albany Township, Pa., a daughter to the late Alvin and Ida (Snyder) Lutz.
Pauline was employed briefly as a cleaning lady for the Tom Schaeffer RV Business, Shoemakersville, Pa., in the late 1970s-early 1980s, but her true passion was taking care of her family and home. She loved to garden, embroider and to bake for her family. Pauline was a member of New Bethel Church, Kempton, Pa.
Survivors include two sons, Willis R. (Elaine) Henry, of Kempton, and Ernest A. (Janice) Henry, of Hamburg; a daughter, Julia P., wife of Randy Derstine, of Kempton; eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by four siblings: Garson, Clifford, Cleon Lutz and Myrtle Berk.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, PA 18066, with a calling hour to begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Jacobs Union Cemetery, New Tripoli, Pa., immediately following the service. Rev. Kevin E. Fruchtl will officiate.
