Lee M. McDonald Springettsbury Twp. - Lee M. McDonald, 83, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Rest Haven York. He was the husband of LaVerne E. (Banks) McDonald. They were married for 59 years. Lee was born in SC. Son of the late Celeste McDonald. He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant after 20 years of service. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Golden Nuggets and was an avid bowler at the East York Lanes. The viewing will be held from 9-10 a.m. Monday April, 16, 2018 at St. Joseph Church, 2935 Kingston Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 a.m. at the church with the Rev. James Menkhus, OFM, Cap, as the celebrant. Entombment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery with full military honors provided by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. In addition to his wife, Lee is also survived by two daughters, Stacy E. Fake of York and Linda Lee Counts, wife of Pastor Russell Counts, of York; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
