Chesley Cline Taylor, age 88 of Marietta, died April 14, 2018 in Fairmount, GA. A funeral service was held at Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Rev. Joe Buckner officiating. Burial was at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Taylor was born in McCaysville, GA and was a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great, great grandfather. He was a US Army veteran and proudly served his country, not only in the United Sates, but also in Europe. He was a member of The National Rifle Association and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling. He was retired from Lockeed Martin Aeronautical Association, where he worked faithfully for 34 years.

Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and his wife Shirley A. Taylor. He is survived by his sons Michael Keith Ellis of Loganville and Martin Craig DeMunbrun of Fort Mills, SC; daughters Selena Taylor Hamrick of Fairmount and Andrea Taylor McPherson of Rydal; brothers Alex and Ricky Taylor; sisters Maxine Ross, Malise Ashworth and Betty Fox; nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
