Ronnie T. Wallace, 76, of Kingsport, died Sunday morning April 15, 2018, at home after an extended illness.

Born in Christiansburg, VA, he had resided in Kingsport since the early 1960’s. Ronnie was employed by Tennessee Eastman Company for 30 years until his retirement in 1996. Ronnie’s love of Tennessee Walking Horses ultimately led to a 30 year career as a professional wedding photographer. He was an avid golfer and was a charter member of The Crossings Golf Club. He was a member of Oakwood Forest Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn (Frazier) Wallace; son, Scott Wallace; sister, Anna Edwards and husband Randall of Centreville, VA; one niece, Suzan; and two nephews, Todd and Tomm.

The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Marlin Jaynes, Minister and Rev. Wayne Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to Oakwood Forest Christian Church, 1713 E. Sevier Ave., Kingsport, TN 37664.
