Otto William Baker, 87, of Linton, formerly of Calvertville, passed away 3:55 a.m. Monday at Glenburn home. Born October 23, 1919 in Worthington, he was the son of Wilbur C. and Grace (Livingston) Baker. He was a mechanic for Commercial Motor Freight in Indianapolis retiring in 1981 after 21 years of service. He was a member of the Concord General Baptist Church. Survivors include: his wife, Nadine (Faulk) Gillispie Baker of Linton; two sons, Gary William Baker of Spencer and Robert Lee Baker of Worthington; one brother, Paul Baker of Indianapolis; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Ann (Sims) Baker on February 9, 1982, his second wife, Hettie I. (Timmons) Correll Baker on March 3, 1997, three sisters, three brothers, one son, Steve Baker, and his parents. Graveside services will be conducted at 12 Noon on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Calvertville cemetery in rural Bloomfield, with Rev. Davey Dyer officiating.
