BURIED 23 DEC. 1904 LOT 119 SPACE 2. TAKEN FROM OLD RICHARDVILLE PUBLICATION Bunker Hill Press, December 1904. Death of Mrs. I. A. Adams.

The sad and startling news, on Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, of the death of Mrs. I. A. Adams was a great shock to this community. Mrs. Adams had been ailing for some time, being afflicted with heart trouble, but was not considered dangerous until Saturday morning. On account of the short time intervening before her death, there were many, especially friends living a few miles in the country, who did not know of her sickness. Despite the efforts of science, skilled nursing and loving care, she continued to grow worse and at 2 o'clock p.m. Monday the spirits took its flight.

The body was taken to Galveston, the old home of the family, Wednesday morning, where services were held is the U. B. church, conducted by Revs. Overmyer of Cass county and Tinkham of Bunker Hill. Interment was made in the Galveston cemetery.

The funeral party consisting of over 50 Bunker Hill friends, was taken over in a special car over the interurban road.

The deceased was a thorough, consistent Christian, a noble woman with many splendid traits of character, and her death will be sincerely mourned by her scores of friends in this community. We extend our most sincere and earnest sympathy to the bereaved husband, daughter and son.
