CARLISLE — Alfred Toney, 76 of Carlisle, WV was the son of the late Frank and Cora M. Winston Toney. He was a retired miner having worked for the New River Company, member of the UMW District 29, and was of the Holiness faith. He was preceded in death by five brothers, Roy, Jess, Lonnie, Everette and Leon Toney and two sisters, Maud Barbazoo and Bessie Toney. Survivors include his wife Elsie M. Crimb Toney; three sons, Alfred F. Toney, David R. Toney and Darrell W. Toney; three daughters, Linda L. Cooper, Sue Ball and Pat Everett; and a brother, John F. Toney.
