LeNell Louise (Darling) Morlan, 63 years, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 13th, 2018 in Eureka, Illinois. She was born the fourth of five daughters to Dwight and Opal Darling in Peoria, Illinois.

LeNell was a graduate of Woodruff High School. While living in Peoria, she was a CNA and also attended Illinois Central College. LeNell was a member of The Salvation Army Church, the Nazarene Church, and in her teens was on the Nazarene City-Wide Bible Quiz Team.

In 2002 she moved to Eureka, Illinois, where she fully committed her life to Christ in 2009 and became a member of Eureka Bible Church in 2010. The joys of her life were her daughter, grandchildren, the Eureka Bible Church family, Bible studies, reading, and caring and praying for others.

LeNell is survived by her daughter, Nicole Morlan of Eureka, Illinois; 4 grandchildren, Isaac Randalls, Emma Cole, Brayden Bockover, and Bentley Bockover; and 3 sisters Rosamund (Darrell) Bartel of Rockford, Illinois, LeAnn (William) Stephens of Topeka, Kansas, and Ellen Howard of Morton, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lorraine Darling; and a brother-in-law, Durward Howard.

She and her family would like to thank Eureka Bible Church, Pastor Aaron and Megan Zehr, Pastor Tom and Lynn Swanson, and special friend Genny Young for their faithful visits, prayers, and many acts of kindness.

LeNell will be remembered for her sense of humor and pleasantness.

Memorial services will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Eureka Bible Church, 1452 Church Rd., Eureka, IL. Pastor Aaron Zehr will officiate.
