In 1960, Judy married the love of her life Anthony (Tony) Albert Bailey, and to this union, three children were born. Mr. Bailey departed this life on the same day as his wife.
A consummate mother and homemaker, Judy enjoyed the beach, traveling, gardening and was amazing in the kitchen. Those dearest to her will remember her caring arms for comfort and all the time and love she put into baking. During her working life, she had been employed as a Bank Manager for Mercantile Bank in St. Louis for twenty-five years prior to her retirement and moving with her husband to their farm near St. James in Maries County.
Judy is preceded in death by her father, Jack; her mother, Oral; and her brother, Jack Meyers, Jr. Those left to mourn the passing of Judy include: Her children, Scott Anthony (Kathleen) Bailey, Anthony Albert "Tony" Bailey, Jr. and fiancé Debra, and Tracy Ellen Bailey-Carter; her grandchildren, Emily, Katie, Griffin, Brooke, Lauren, Ryan, Austin, Brennan, and Camaryn; her great-grandson, Lawson; her sister, JoAnne Burr. Judy also leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
A private family service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis on January 29 2018, under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna.
