Michael A. Kramer, Kinston, NC passed away on Saturday, April 14th at the UNC-Hospice Home in Chapel Hill, NC
Born April 23rd, 1958, in Greensburg, Indiana, he was the son of John and Elenora (Werner) Kramer.
He was a 1976 graduate of Greensburg High School and a graduate of Purdue University. Mike worked as a Chemical Engineer for Dupont for over thirty years.
Michael is survived by three sons, Ryan, Raleigh, NC, Sean and Evan – Chapel Hill, NC. four brothers, Harold (Anna Mae) Kramer, Norbert (Jeanie) Kramer, Alvin (Catherine) Kramer, James Kramer, six sisters, Rita (Howard "Bud") Meyer, Clara (Robert) Dwenger, Marilyn (David) Berkemeier, Kathryn (Larry) Berkemeier, Jean Campfield, Carol (Larry) Bishop; one sister-in-law, Helen Kramer; and sixty-one nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Raymond Kramer; two sisters, Frieda Hellmich and Judy Kramer.
Michael has donated his body to the UNC-Medical School for research. A celebration of life will be held in Greensburg at a later date and will be entrusted to the care of Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home.
