Born in Ross County, Ohio on June 4, 1902 to the late Guy H. and Maride E. Jones Minser, on July 15, 1949, he was married to the former Helen Ruth (Malone) Strouth, who survives him.
A retired employee of the Fisher Body Plant in Columbus, he was also a member of the United Auto Workers Local 969.
Along with his wife, he is survived by two daughters and one son from a previous marriage; a step-grandson, Rick Strouth, Dublin, with whom he was previously living; several grandchildren; step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; four sisters, Ethel Minser and Mrs. Evelyn Yochum, both of Columbus, Mrs. Edith Helbing of Newark, and Mrs. Tammie Burgoon of Upland, California. He was predeceased by a step-son, Richard Strouth and two brothers.
