Services for Berry W. Shoumaker Jr., 68, of Longview will be 10 a.m. Friday at Rose Neath Bossier Chapel Funeral Home in Bossier City, La., with Chaplain Earl T. Gentry officiating.
Burial will be in Plain Dealing Cemetery in Plain Dealing, La.
Mr. Shoumaker died Tuesday at his residence.
Mr. Shoumaker was a native of Epps, La., and had lived in Longview since 1955. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was retired as a welder for Marathon LeTourneau.
Survivors include mother, Mary Virgie of Benton, La.; sons, Berry III of Plain Dealing, La., Robert of Keithville, La., Claudy of Gonzales, La., and Luther of Henderson (Tex.); daughters, Kathryn Pulizzi of Plain Dealing, La., and Odie Arnold of Longview (Tex.); sister, Vivian Benson of Benton; brothers, Roland of Plain Dealing, La., and J.B. of Bethany, La.; 17 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
