Born on November 16, 1927 in Taloga, Oklahoma she was the daughter of the late Mason Earl and Dollie Newfelt Belcher.
Elizabeth retired from the Maidenform after 45 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed baking and decorating cakes for special occasions and was a faithful member of the Melrose Community Church in Princeton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Glendle, Bill and Jewell Belcher.
Survivors include her three brothers, Gale Belcher and his wife Wilda Jean of Princeton, Rev. Robert Belcher and his wife Jan of Stuart, Virginia and Delbert Belcher and his wife Sallie of Okmulgee, Oklahoma;
Two sisters-in-law; Patsy Belcher and Delma Belcher-Swim;
Several nieces and nephews;
Services to celebrate the life of Elizabeth Belcher will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the Melrose Community Church with Rev. Wesley Belcher, Rev. Robert Belcher and Rev. Richard Godfrey officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where her great nieces and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 PM until the service hour.
