John Joseph Dailey passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 3, 2018 after a 5-year battle with Lewy Body/Parkinson disease. John was born on August 8, 1932 in Seattle, Washington. He spent much of his life overseas in the Foreign Service and travelling over decades on fun adventures with his wife. He worked for almost 50 years at the Central Intelligence Agency – a true public servant; however, his true loves were family, friends, and music! He is survived by his beloved wife, their children and their spouses, and his cherished caregiver. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00p.m. at the Everly Funeral Home, 6161 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, Virginia. A Catholic Mass will be offered on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 1:00p.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church, 3304 N. Washington Blvd, Arlington, Virginia. Following the Mass, a reception will be held at the family home in Arlington.
