Mrs. Elizabeth Barley Passes to the Great Majority
At 6 o'clock yesterday evening, Mrs. Elizabeth Barley, widow of Samuel Barley, died at her home, 11 Ninth street, of chronic vavulitis, after an illness of nine hours. The deceased was born in Bedford county, May 22, 1829, and was therefore 71 years, 4 months and 14 days. She came to this city in 1888, and resided here since that time.
She leaves the following children: Miriam, Samuel and Calvin, of this city; Homer, of DuBois; and Edgar, in the Philippines. Also these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Solomon Barley, 405 Sixth avenue; Mrs. Jesse Brooks and Mrs. Michael Campbell, of Duncansville; Mrs. Esther McAuliffe and Mrs. John Bacon, of Roaring Spring; Solomon Fickes, of Claysburg, and David Fickes, of Nebraska.
The funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Funeral services over the body of Mrs. Elizabeth Barley will be held in Trinity Reformed church this evening at 7:30 o'clock. The body will remain in the church until to-morrow morning when it will be taken on the 8:05 train to Roaring Spring, and thence to the Barley church from which the interment will be made in the Barley cemetery.
