Joe H. Elliott, Sr., 69, Houston resident for 60 years, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 1983 in a local hospital. He was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church, Spring Branch Lions Club and Woodmen of the World. He was owner of the Spring Branch Body Shop.

Survivors: wife, Esta May "Billie" Elliott, Houston; son, Joe H. Elliott Jr., Houston; step-son, Charles Cox, Midland, Tx.; step-daughter, Helen Morton, Cleveland, Tx.; granddaughter, Melaina Elliott; sisters, Mary Ellen Whitaker, Houston, Jean McKnight, Navasota; numerous other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 3:00 p.m. Friday, Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Chapel, Msgr. Theo De La Torre officiating. Interment Garden of Gethsemani.
