Suzanne Rogers, 37, heard the summons of her dear Redeemer and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 17, 2012 after being diagnosed with breast cancer in October, 2011. Suzanne was born in Portland, Oregon and lived most of her life in Ridgefield, Washington.
Suzanne married her childhood sweetheart, Mel Rogers on March 19, 1994. She is survived by Mel and their four children, Luke, Heidi, Stephen and Matthew. It was her desire and Mel's that each of the children would grow to follow the Lord and be true testimonies to the glory of God.
Suzanne is survived by her parents, Maurice and Helen Blake of Ridgefield, Washington and her siblings: Maureen (Dan) Visan of Boring, Oregon; Randy Blake of Gresham, Oregon; Cheryl (Dan) Brimlow of Ridgefield, Washington; Beth (Rick) Robert of Vancouver, Washington; Rodney (Debbie) Blake of Savage, Minnesota; Kathy (David) Sester of Troutdale, Oregon; Tim (Hannah) Blake of Ridgefield, Washington; Nathan (Vi) Blake of Moses Lake, Washington; Rebecca (Bob) Mittelstadt of Moses Lake, Washington; Jonathan (Debbie) Blake of Moses Lake, Washington; and David (Heather) Blake of Pingree, Idaho. She also had 34 nieces and nephews.
Mel and Suzanne have owned and operated T Square Remodeling in Vancouver, Washington since purchasing it in 2008.
Visitation was held on April 20th, 2012 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel ~ 1101 N.E. 112th Avenue, Vancouver, Washington. A private family burial was held on Saturday, April 21st, 2012 followed by a memorial service at Thomas Jefferson Middle School ~ 3000 NW 119th St. Vancouver, Washington.
Suzanne's love for the Lord Jesus was evident in all aspects of her life. Her husband, children, family, and friends miss her dearly but eagerly anticipate another reunion someday.
