Mrs. Sandra Kay Reeves Armstrong, 68, of Winston-Salem, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2018, at SECU Hospice Center and is no longer suffering. Mrs. Armstrong was born on July 1, 1949, in Forsyth County to the late Clarence Jerome “C.J.” and Hazel Elledge Reeves. She made fast friends everywhere she went and blessed all of those around her with warm words each time she saw them. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Boyd; and one brother, Richard Reeves. Surviving are her husband, Bobby Lee Armstrong Jr.; three daughters, Loretta “Lori” Hall (Marc), Jennifer Everhart (Wayne), and Tammy Hooker; five grandchildren, Chris Barker, Michael Barker, Kayla Hall Rogers, Cody Hall, and Leigh Ann Freeman; five great-grandchildren, one brother, Jackie Reeves (Magdelene); and a host of loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 3pm on April 15, 2018, at Higher Ground Baptist Church, 163 Gene Hege Rd, Lexington, NC 27295, with Pastor Jimmy Greene officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SECU Hospice Center, 243 N. Lee Avenue, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
