Ina Cline Welch, age 90, of Lenoir, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care-Hudson.
She was born June 27, 1927 in Sullivan County, Tennessee to the late Robert P. and Alice Church Cline.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wade H. Welch; brothers, Roy Cline and Donald Cline; and sisters, Pansy Carlyle, Pearl Reitzel, and Ollie Storie.
Mrs. Welch was retired from Gateway Nursing Center and was a lifetime member of College Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, David Wade Welch and wife Saundra of Brandon, Florida; one daughter, Terry Ennis of Lenoir; five grandchildren, Holly Herman and husband Scott of Granite Falls, Becky Martin of Lenoir, Jennifer Garza, Crystal Welch, and Mitchel Welch, all of Florida; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Dr. Charles Brawley. Interment will immediately follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
