Mr. Clifford Wright was born on March 22, 1951, in Columbia, South Carolina. He was a 1969 graduate of C. A. Johnson High School. He retired from Anchor Continental (later changed to IPG) as a Lead Operator, after 44.5 years of dedicated service.

Mr. Wright is survived by his beloved wife of over 40 years: Mattie Irick Wright; sons: Adrian (Kadra) Wright and Julian Keith Wright; daughter: Ashley (Maurice) Lindsay; father: J. C. Hamilton, Jr.; brother: Robert Wright, Jr.; sisters: Angela Carr (William) Patterson, Cassandra Irene Wright; aunt: Helen J. Williams; a very special niece: Crystal (Jarrod) Hill; a spiritual sister: Glenda Wilder; 8 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 11 AM at Leevy’s Funeral Home, Taylor Street Chapel with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park, Serenity Gardens. Visitation will be held Monday evening beginning at 7 PM at the funeral home.
