Fort Bend Herald, April 13, 2018:

Terry Noris Webb passed away April 11, 2018 in the comfort of his own home.

He was born June 10, 1935 in Caney, Oklahoma to Arvle and Janet (Jackie) Webb. He was the second oldest of five brothers and one sister.

He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War on the Taikonderoga stationed out of Corpus Christi, TX.

He went to the University of Oklahoma and obtained a degree in electrical engineering. He worked on shore and offshore in the oil and gas industry until he retired in 1997. He was very active in retirement; he and Mary Jo travelled and camped across the country with the Sojourners, he always had a project going on, and loved to tinker with cars and motorcycles. Anyone who knew him heard his whistle while he worked.

He was also very active in the Church of Christ in Needville. He served the Lord as an Elder in the church for many years. He loved teaching Bible classes and leading singing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arvle and Janet Webb; his brother, Eddie Webb; his sister, Priscilla Webb; his wife of fifty years, Mary Jo Webb; his son, Jeffrey Ode Webb; and his granddaughter, Lacey Jo Smerek.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Mariana Webb of Needville; his daughter and son-in-law, Steve and Janie Smerek of Needville; and his grandchildren: Michael Webb, Stephanie Webb, Tanya Webb, Suzan Webb, Lindi Stammann, Orin Stammann, Landon Smerek, Great Grandchildren: Jacob Webb, Jacinda Webb, Jailyn Webb, Zachary Webb, Kennedy Webb, and Harper Webb. He is also survived by his brothers Truman Webb and family of Muskogee, Ok; Albert Webb and family of Austin, Tx.; Richard Webb and family of Phoenix, Ar.; and Danny Webb and family of Moore, OK., as well as extended family and many wonderful friends.

A viewing will be held from 3:30 – 5 pm Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Needville Church of Christ, 9526 Church St. Needville, TX 77461. Funeral services will be at 11 am, Monday, April 16, 2018 at the church. Burial will immediately follow the service in Needville Public Cemetery. All are welcome to come celebrate his life.
