Christopher E. Pendleton, 72, of 1615 Maintou Road, Rochester, died in North Side Hospital, Rochester.

Mr. Pendleton was a former resident of Ithaca and had been a toolmaker at the Ithaca Gun Co.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Jeffers of Endicott and Mrs. Charles Leichliter of Rochester; three grandchildren; a brother, William Pendleton of Ithaca; three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Sturch of Toronto, Canada and two sisters in England; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held in the Wagner Funeral Home. The minister from St. Paul's Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the East Lawn Cemetery.
