Virginia M. Simon, 91, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at her residence.

Virginia was born July 21, 1926, to Albert Roscoe and Weltha Virginia (Jackson) Dunlap. She married Vern LeRoy Moyer, and he preceded her in death in 1956. She then married Clarence Otterbein Simon, who also preceded her in death in 1988.

Survivors include two sons, Terrance Lynn (Joyce Marie) Moyer of Castalia and Robert Ellsworth (Rosina Marie) Simon of Tiffin; a son-in-law, John Juarez of Colorado; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joe Dunlap of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Virginia also was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers.

Virginia graduated in 1944 from Old Fort High School. She worked a few jobs outside of the home but her primary love was taking care of her family, she was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and Old Fort High School basketball.

Visitation for family and friends will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2018, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin.

Funeral for Virginia will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the funeral home with the Rev. Ben Scherger officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Union Cemetery, Old Fort
