Gary Phillip Bonner, age 84 & Carol Elaine (Parker) Bonner, age 81, of Maryville, TN entered into Heaven Gates on April 8 (Carol) & April 9 (Gary), 2018.

Gary & Carol had been married for 62 years. They were both members of Sevier Heights Baptist Church for 23 yrs. Gary is a retired United States Postal Service worker & a veteran of the United States Army. They are preceded in death by both Gary's & Carol's parents: Henry G. Bonner, Kathryn A. High Bonner, Richard J. Parker & V. Joyce (Watkins) Parker. In addition to their parents, they are preceded in death by Gerald W. Coughnenour (Nephew) Brother Richard D. Parker, Sister Sarah Babin, Brothers Richard Bonner & James Bonner.

Survivors include: Carol's sister Betty Jean Coughenour & husband Donald Coughenour of Knoxville, TN. Two sons Randall S. Bonner & wife Julie Bonner of Cleveland TN. Ronald W. Bonner & wife Dawn Bonner of Martinsburg, WV. Two daughters Elaine K. Sneed & husband James Sneed of Manassas VA. Evon S. Roth of Sweetwater, TN. Six grandchildren: Beth Mcquire & husband Matt, Josiah Roller, Kayla Bonner, Sierra Roth, Kameron Bonner & Cassie Bonner. They also have four great grandchildren: Matthew, Taylor, Judah & Noah Mcquire.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 pm.-3:00 pm. followed by a Memorial service at 3:00 pm. on April 14, 2018, at Sevier Heights Baptist Church Knoxville, TN. Private family burial at Sherwood Cemetery.

Gary & Carol served the Lord faithfully as they loved and valued family, neighbors and others. They always put others first and were the most caring and loving parents and grandparents you'd find anywhere. Gary loved serving as a Sunday School teacher for 50 years and Carol served along side him as she loved coordinating care, prayer chains, and newsletters for the class. They shared Jesus everywhere they went. They were loved by all. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Sevier Heights Next Generation, 3232 Alcoa Hwy., Knoxville, TN 37920
