It is with great sadness that the family of Terry Newman, age 66 of Brainerd, Minnesota, announces his passing unexpectedly in Panama City, Florida on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.
Terry was born on Jan. 9, 1952 in Glencoe, Minnesota to Jerry and Lucille (Lunow) Newman.
Terry married the love of his life, Laura (Colosky) on Oct. 4, 1986.
The couple spent most of their married life living in Alaska.
Terry retired from Conoco Phillips Alaska in 2012 and moved to the Brainerd area in 2010 before retiring.
Terry will be lovingly remembered by his wife Laura of 31 years; parents, Jerry and Lucille of Buffalo, Minnesota; brothers, Mike of Cathedral City, California and Mark (Kathy) of Hudson, Wisconsin; and beloved golden retriever, Lucy girl.
He will also be deeply missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, along with a multitude of friends.
A memorial service celebrating Terry's life will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brainerd, Minnesota.
Visiting with the family will be one hour prior to the service.
Any memorial donations received will be donated to several charities of Terry's choosing.
