Helen Hoffman Prince,82, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away on March 31, 2018 at Hearthstone Health Campus, surrounded by her family.

Helen was born on May 25, 1935 in Loogootee, IN to the late Lloyd and Mary Lulu (Harris) Burress. She attended Loogootee High School in Loogootee, IN. After high school she married Don Adams in 1956. They shared 25 years together. She later married Jim Hoffman, who was her travel companion and partner, who she dearly loved. Through the later years of her life, she was blessed to marry Jerry Prince who helped support and love Helen. Helen moved from Loogootee to work for RCA and went on to work at ATR Coil Company for 30 years in payroll before she retired. Helen’s family was the center of her life, she loved to follow her boy’s sporting events as they were growing up and never missed a game. Helen was also a world traveler and loved to go on new adventures with family and friends. She would take Alaskan cruises and travel abroad to Ireland, Germany, and Italy just to name a few. She also enjoyed mushroom hunting with her sisters in the spring which became an annual event. Helen was a lifelong church member and loved spending time with her grandchildren and her dog Cooper.

Helen is survived by Don Adams; sons, Dennis Adams, David Adams (Pam); grandchildren, Maddie, Chantel Patton (Doug), Katie McAninch (Nate), and David Paul; great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Theodore; her niece, Norma Fendley; her best friend, sister-in-law, and travel partner, Wilma Wampler; many nieces and nephews; several step-children; step- grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands, Jim Hoffman and Jerry Prince; and 9 brothers and sisters.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1: 00 P.M. Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home and Crematory, 4155 S. Old State Rd. 37, Bloomington, IN 47401., with Pastor Michael Magruder officiating. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery in Shoals, IN.

Friends may visit from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday, April 2, 2018 and again from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.
